Treatment steps

Implant supported restorations take place in two stages. The first stage involves inserting the implant into the jawbone and allowing the bone to bind to the implant over a period of a few months. During this healing period patients may wear a temporary bridge or denture. The second stage involves placing an abutment on each implant and creating a crown, bridge or denture.
